Our Goal

My Anchor Foundation aims to provide therapeutic support to underserved and high need individuals, and families afflicted with behavior concerns and skill deficits to the point of inflicting severe stress. Our therapies are designed to promote the development of appropriate educational, vocational, social and leisure skills. We’ve created interventions and strategies designed to treat each individual based on their unique situation, and each family based on their unique makeup, in order to improve their quality of life one day at a time.

Training and Services

Therapeutic services can take the form of evidence-based treatments and trainings that target specific behaviors, such as aggression, self injury or skill acquisition deficits such as toilet training, simple meal prep, money management or safely crossing the street. Therapeutic services can also take the form of family therapy to teach things like coping with the extreme care needs of a loved one and managing day to day demands in such a way that they minimize stress on the family unit as a whole. Family units that are caring for loved ones with behavior or learning challenges are under enormous stress. The time to provide assistance is right now. It can never be too early or too late to lend a helping hand to a fellow human who is carrying such a heavy burden.
